ESCO (Energy Saving Company) - ESCo services are services performed within the so called Guaranteed
Performance Contracts, i.e. ESCo-contracts - a specific trade contract
regulated by the Energy Efficiency Law. In this particular type of
negotiation, the executor of the energy efficiency service calculates
and ensures the savings realized from the energy saving measures,
provides the project financing, and his remuneration is determined by
the actual savings achieved during the maturity period.
Technical and commercial risk is to the ESCO company, financial
organization is provided by the ESCO company and the financial
responsability is guaranteed by the savings. This is the most
advantageous way for performing energy efficiency projects, because
the client receives the service without having to pay immediately, and
does not need to provide additional resources to his own budget in
the future. Simply, within the contract period, his energy costs remain
the same.
